Adventures While Black invites you out for an intimate night of vulnerable vibes, cultural conversation and poetic flows- Spoken Like a Word, Open Mic & Poetry- Black History Month Edition

Join us, while we prepare to bring you a new space in Bangkok for creative writers, storytellers and other creatives to connect with like-minded individuals who dare to absorb such intimate moments were soul meets sound.

A space where words move like music and emotions flow like poetry. Spoken Like a Word is more than an event—it’s an intimate sanctuary for poets, spoken word artists, motivational speakers, and monologue storytellers to set their truths free through raw expression.

Whether you’d like to grab the mic and perform or sit back and simply take it all in, you’ll leave feeling lighter, inspired, and seen.

This Black History Month Edition will be presented as an Open Dialogue night with Q&A for audience members to engage in thought provoking conversations regarding Black culture.

Additionally, we have plans to add an interactive piece to the night where the audience will be invited to join us in conversation on stage as we incorporate a “Pass the Mic” segment into the experience. Prepare to have an amazing night!

Performances are open to all- Beginners and Novice are ALL WELCOME: Open Mic (Vocalists/Rappers *slow down, we’d like to connect with you without music), Poets, Writers, Storytellers & more!
